Why Inpspire?
What's Wrong with Just Weekly Lessons?
The traditional method of teaching music lessons uniquely lacks a sense of belonging... but it doesn't have to! I want you to think about any other extracurricular you have signed your child up for or any hobby you have taken on. Even the ones that could be taught solo almost never are: Imagine dance lessons where only one child is performing ballet and one teacher is giving constructive feedback. Or what if you made up your mind to run a marathon? Your first instinct will mostly likely be to look for friends to train alongside you.
For anything we take on that requires effort and consistency, we all need the direction of people who have gotten where we're trying to go, but I would contend that we all do far better when we are with people who are going there with us.
Community is the place where you can encourage one another towards a deeper commitment towards your shared goals and interests, celebrate and be inspired by the growth of your peers, and feel safe to talk about your blunders and obstacles among people who have been there and get it. For most anything you sign up for that requires effort and consistency, that community is built-in for you... except for traditional music lessons.
At Inspire Music Studios, my wish for you, my students, is that you would find connection with people who share your love of music. My wish is that you, my students, will inspire each other.
